Expo 2020 and Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) have attracted further events to be organised during the six months of Expo 2020 by Informa.

They include NAJAH (November 1 to 2, 2020), an annual higher education student recruitment fair and exhibition involving international universities, the 20th Cityscape Global, the largest real-estate investment and development event for emerging markets globally that will run from November 10 to 12, 2020, and Seatrade Maritime Middle East exhibition and awards, as well as Terminal Operator Conferences during UAE Maritime Week 2020 (December 6 to 10, 2020).

Middle East Film and Comic Con, the region’s biggest festival of pop culture and gaming, will also take place at DEC in early March 2021 with an expected attendance of more than 45,000 people.

The agreement with UK-headquartered Informa follows the announcement of other major events to be held at DEC during Expo 2020, including the World Government Summit and the Global Islamic Economy Summit, both of which will take place in November 2020, as well as the Global Business Forums on Africa, Latin America and ASEAN and World Chambers Congress 2021. Delegates can experience all that Expo 2020 has to offer from entertainment, cuisine, cultural events, architecture, to innovation, customised journeys and immersive exhibitions.

And the very first exhibition to be held at Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) will be the 22nd international exhibition “Water, Energy, Technology and the Environment” (WETEX 2020) together with the Dubai Solar Show 2020, organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).
