The leading specialized exhibition Expomed Eurasia, where suppliers of medical devices, equipment and technologies meet with Turkish and foreign buyers and follow the latest trends in the field of healthcare, has been successfully uniting the medical sector of Turkey with the rest of the world for 29 years.

Tuyap Fair and Congress Center closed the doors of Expomed Eurasia 2022 on March 19. The participants and guests of the exhibition were satisfied with the wide range of products aimed at meeting the demand for medical goods and services from Turkey, the Balkan countries, Russia, the countries of Western and Central Asia, the Caucasus, the Middle East and North Africa, from where most of the Expomed international visitors arrived. In total, the exhibition attracted the attention of more than 15,000 visitors from more than 130 countries.

The Russian stand, organized by the Russian Export Center, presented 11 companies operating in the field of production of medical devices and equipment. The Russian pavilion was visited by Dr Tolga Karakan, president, Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices. Agency (TiTCK) under the Ministry of Health, as well as by Mr. Kemal Yaz the head of the Federation of the Medical Device Manufacturers’ and Suppliers‘ Association (TUMDEF). 

On the first day of the event, a series of bilateral meetings between exporters and potential buyers took place with the assistance of the Russian Trade Mission in Turkey and the REC representative office in Turkey.

On the second day, a meeting-seminar “The potential of the market of pharmacological products and medical equipment of Turkey for Russian manufacturers; current consumer trends, opportunities to promote products in the market of the Republic of Turkey” was held with participation of Turkish business representatives. The Turkish side highly appreciated the products of the company “Eidos-Medicine”, which is currently negotiating to equip the educational center at the University of Medical Sciences of Turkey.
