Participants in the Fourth Dubai Health Forum affirmed that the forum constitutes a leading platform to highlight the contribution of the private medical sector in supporting the efforts of the United Arab Emirates to confront the (Covid-19) pandemic, and control diseases, especially chronic ones.

Khalifa Al Dari, Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, said that the private health sector in Dubai is a strategic partner in providing excellent health care to patients.

He added during his participation in the forum: The private health sector in Dubai has introduced the latest international technologies to provide emergency and health care services and conduct accurate medical examinations, which contributes to saving patients and injured and enhances the level of medical tourism.

“The forum contributes to providing an opportunity for health sector leaders, experts and doctors in the country and the region to collaborate to enhance the efficiency of health services locally and globally,” said Dr. Muhammad Al-Nahhas, Chairman and CEO of Mena Labs Laboratories in Dubai.

In his speech at the forum, he added: “At Menalabs, we aim to support efforts to enhance health care in the UAE, by increasing the capacity of laboratories to conduct disease detection tests.”

He continued, “We have increased the number of trained technicians, genetic doctors, molecular biology and PCR tests, and workers at Menalab’s facilities. We have also increased our capacity to conduct more than 100,000 tests per day to carry out our national and medical duty for citizens, residents and visitors to the UAE.”

He continued, “The accuracy and quality of PCR results and reports is due to the fact that we are the first private laboratory in the country to have a genetic laboratory for more than five years. Therefore, we were among the first laboratories that contributed to conducting tests on a large scale, because we had the expertise and genetic doctors.”

He continued: “Mina Laise” conducts more than 3,500 types of different tests, including viral tests, specialized and genetic tests, and more than 2,000 tests are conducted of various types of laboratory and genetic tests, including routine tests such as blood images, kidney functions, liver functions, hormones, Chemical analyzes, equine analyses, bacterial analyzes and cultures.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Nahhas added: “We all aspire to exchange experiences, which will contribute to raising the levels of health services, providing the best medical care for patients, and promoting the health and protection of the community.”

The forum will be held with an intense presence of leaders and senior officials of health institutions inside and outside the country, and a large crowd of decision-makers, scientists, doctors and planners representing different countries of the world, in addition to the participation of a leading group of major companies producing smart medical technologies and solutions.

The two-day forum will witness a large number of lectures, seminars, training workshops, open sessions and discussions, which will focus on an important set of topics, foremost of which are: digital health, genomics, space medicine, big data and artificial intelligence, value-based care, and health economics. .
